Treasure of a Town & Treasures That Were Found....

Ocean Grove, is a quaint Victorian Town located at the Jersey Shore...where at one time cars were not aloud to drive on Sunday - but that's not a law anymore...actually you're better off exploring this town by foot...with all of its Victorian architectural delights of homes...that one by one are being preserved is truly beautiful.....its a hidden treasure city within two big cities - Asbury Park and Neptune...you can find a lot in this little city of Ocean Grove from little mom & pop shops, to an old fashion ice cream parlor, to the Great Auditorium, to art galleries, down to earth cooking restaurants, the beautiful beach & lovely boardwalk, and most of all you can find Ocean Grove Big Flea Market & side street Yard Sales - twice a year....the first one is held on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and second is held the weekend after Labor Day...you can find many many different types of treasures, for furniture to lawn art to knic knac's galore...one can always come back with something if you are willing and able to explore...it's just not the large area in front of the Great Auditorium - but its on all the streets of the town, there are many who have treasures for sale in front of their homes...here are just a few of the things that I was lucky enough to bring back to my little "Hive Sweet Hive".....

  2. Wow, what a lovely place!! Ahh, so close but so far away! I really need a car to drive one state over...or even upstate--I'm sure I am missing out on many lovely things!
