The Journey of the Journal or is it the Journal of the Journey...that IS the Question?

Good Evening all...the question of today is "Is it the Journey of the Journal or the Journal of the Journey"....above is a cover of a book that I just purchase at the "Ocean Grove's Flea Market" a couple of weekends ago....I brought this very old book for a whopping $1.00 you see you are only seeing the front of the book, but what you're not seeing is that there is no back cover but there is many delicate pages beyond the cover...that's now it is with journaling...we see the beginning/cover of one's journal but do we know if there is a middle or an end...we won't know unless the individual invites us to see what they have put into it...well we have been granted permission by many of the "Land of blOZ" world to venture into each one's journal...some of these individuals are Kari of ArtsyMama, Hope of PaperRelics and Pam Garrison and there are many many more out there who aloud us to read or see their many entries....these gals are truly amazing with what they have created in their journals...they are truly inspiring with all of their visuals of their books... and all their words of encouragement for anothers to try this art of writing/creating....

Well you see, their words were so inspiring to me that I finally created my first page - I've had the front & back done for a while but I couldn't continue for some reason - I felt as though I was going to ruin my journal if I enter anything... but you see that's what the book is meant for, to experiment, to make happy mistakes that turn into works of art - isn't that what life is about, that we have to take the chances or we won't find out if it would make it as a page in our book of life...so here is my journal please feel free to look and maybe I will have inspire one of you to go beyond the covers and create the pages of your life's journey...the journal of your life...here's to many more pages...EXPLORE...CREATE...ENJOY!

Have a honey of a night - sweet dreams to all! and to all a good night!

Parcel Store & Eye Candy Galore

The windows alone of PARCEL beckon you to come on in and explore the world of paper, emblishments, flowers, candy, and much much more - it has the feel of an old General Store....where customers are always "WELCOME" from near or far by the lovely owner NANCY

She is as sweet as can be and is always there to help you in any kind of way, whether it bee to pick trinkets to make a collage box, or design invites for a wedding, or help decorate for a baby shower...she is way too cool...so is her daughter Lucy - who I adore, she is so very helpful just like her mom...Lucy wasn't there today - but I left something little behind as a surprise for her, Nancy promise to give it to her when she got home...(I hope you like it Lucy)....well I won't say much more, so that you can take the tour and see for yourself all the eye candy that is store for you to feast on...ENJOY... (click on each picture & you will be able to view all the goodies up close Happy Exploring 2 U)

Well its getting late, and I am the last one in the store...but there is sooo much more
that you yourself have to go and explore...at this wonderful & plentiful store of goodies
called "PARCEL" located on Bloomfied Ave., Montclair, New Jersey --www.shopparcel.com
As I am about to leave a paper doiley cup to hold flowers catches my eye...I don't purchase it at that moment, I turn to Nancy & say - "I'll be back real soon & if that doiley is still there than it was meant to be mine...if not, than I just have to explore a little more to see what else catches my eye!"
I hope your day was filled with treasures galore just like mine...I can't wait to create with all the goodies I purchased this time...
Have a honey of a night - sweet dreams!

The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow

Hello all....welcome to a very tiny part of New Jersey - the Garden State or should I say the raining state...here on the east coast we've been seeing pretty much of a lot of puddles & hearing a lot of pitter patter of rain drops hitting the outside of our homes...as I was going through some of my pictures in my camera that I took last week, I came upon these that did show the sun shining here at the Jersey Shore...

So sit back and take a little stroll into my tiny little world called home....I think the boyz are already waiting for you in the back yard....

Not only has it been raining on & off today and yesterday - but its been raining here in Jersey on and off for a couple of weeks now...so everything is looking very lush and green...but with all the rain a lot of the flowers have lost their petals...so sometimes there might be flowers, but in a bleak of an eye you are left with just stems...so take in all the beauty that comes to you everyday because you never know when it might go away...

Ahhh just a little more around the bend and we'll be in my back yard...sometimes I feel that my little part of paradise is actually a run way for "Birdz" Airline - the traffic that flies high & low across my yard see more traffic than the Atlantic City Airport (LOL).. Sometimes I think the birds are having a race amongst themselves to see who could go faster from one house to another...we have many varieties - finches, blue jays, mocking birds, cardinals, wrens, lets not forget the crows and much much more in this tiny yard I call home...."Home" can be an 800 square foot co-op or an 8,000 square foot castle - but the saying holds true in either place "There's No Place Like Home"....

Look it here, Wheezer is waiting to greet you in to our back yard...
the boyz are always having a grand time back there between chasing the birds, or scaring the squirrels....or holding rap group try outs for their fellow canine pals in the hood their group is called "Barkers Unite" andddd they sometimes decide to hold a show of their own by chasing each other crazily around in circles...sometimes they forget what they are chasing after and just stop & look around dumb founded then they realize what they were doing and go back on track as though they never stopped running...and I must say they have a big fan club here....we have Fiona the Huskie, Benny the hot dog, Atlanta the lab, Crash the pug, Lucy the pug/beagle, Bear & Paw the Chows, and Roxy who's a mix and lets not forget all of the kitties that live in the hood but there are too many to name....they always bring down the house when one walks by our door, I think you can hear the barking all the way down to Red Bank...too funny...

But I do so sooo love my tiny little paradise...as I sit in one of my many chairs and watch the world go by...its such a delight to sit and admire all the flowers that have grown and bring beauty to my garden - I think I would make my grandmother proud if she saw my yard now...as I sit back and take in the scenary I sit and wonder can there be a piece of heaven in my very own little yard...so please come sit with me and have a glass of ice tea on the next sunny day here at the Jersey Shore and enjoy all of Mother Nature that is displayed in my very little tiny yard that I called "HOME"....

Thanks for dropping by now...but before you go please enjoy some of the beauty that lies in this yard of mine...

The boyz hate to see you go, but they hope that you will stop on by anytime...don't be a stranger, you're always "Welcome" , we'll make sure to always leave a light on for when you do...

Have a honey of a night - sweet dreams!
