Helloooo - Just Popping My Head In To See If You're There...

It's been a few days since my last post...but I've been a BIZZY gal - but between my full time job, my part time job at Anthropologie and my 2nd p/t job babysitting and trying sooo hard to get better health wise - I've been a little crazed... but this will pass.. Like the Ostrich I finally decided to get my head out of the ground and start poking around at new and adventurous things... and stand tall & proud.....
So I am here to announce that I will be opening up an Etsy Shop with items that I've created and things that I have found...so please stay tuned to your nearest computer and follow the updates and postings on this new adventure....

My second adventure is deciding on going to Silver Bella 2009 in Omaha, Nebraska in November... its a little scarey - but in the process of joining many swaps that are going on for this event, I've had the pleasure of meeting a lot of wonderful women who will be attending... I can't say that this feeling of nervousness will go away... but the anticipation & excitement in me will balance it out... I will definitely keep you up to date with what is happening & show some of the things I have made for the swaps I'm participating in...... The display on the right is one that is in Anthropologie that shows all of their aprons... this brings to my mind the theme of Silver Bella 2009 which will be aprons... My motto for this event is "So Many Aprons Sooo Little Time".....
Last but not least there will be a third announcement but that will be announced at a later date.... so I hope that you all are like the Ostrich & have but your head up HIGH to discover what is in the sky for you to see... EXPLORE is a word that I will be using a lot in time to come....
Have a honey of a night - sweet dreams!
Grace Peace Joy & Many Blessings 2 "U"
Marlene

P.S. - The friendly little Ostrich in this post is a display in Anthropologie - she is too cute and she is looking for her egg...

  2. I love the ostrich. Shredded paper is such a yummy thing? Funny...I just used some Anthropologie paper in a piece of jewelry I just created! We are savers here in Bloomington.

  11. Hey Marlene, I'm a little envious of the p/t job at Anthropologie -- I love the whole shop! I have just found a whole lot of vintage aprons and I'm going to bring them to the SB vendor faire. The display piece would be so cool to have! See you in 2 months,
    ~Marilee

  15. Hi Marlene, Good to be back visiting your blog again. I recently also opened up an Etsy shop and it is just hit and miss with trying to figure out what I want to do with mine so I may just wing it for a couple of months and then focus in one area but whatever may come, I'm having fun with it and hope yours brings you joy too. The Ostrich..........what a guy! Hugs, Mollye and good Luck with your venture!
