There's No Place Like Hive..... In The Land of blOZ

Hello Everyone! He's here....Prince "Wheezer" Emerald has arrived at our Hive Sweet Hive....we're still adjusting to the new little bugger...he is sooo sweet and just a little honey...he has been buzzing around the hive either following me "QBC" or Sir Toby McBee...he is so funny and I must say very energetic...so energetic, that I think Sir Toby and I will definitely get our daily work out...now if only I would stop procrastinating and submit pictures on my bl"OZ" for everyone to see how adorable both my little guys are....

On another buzz...as I sit here in my twinkling lighted art room...I'm preparing for an Artist Day that I'm participating in this weekend at a lovely place called Dearborn Farms...again, I have procrastinated, which is leading me into a major PANIC to get things done...I have to concentrate on the three words that I have pick for me this year to live by...which are FOCUS - DISCIPLINE - FINISH....once I adjust my thoughts to these words, I will bee able to get BIZZY and accomplish ALOT....

I forgot to mention that I received the most BEAUTIFUL BOX of Treats from my swap"ette" partner Barbara from the Valentine "Year of Color" swap...this was her first swap - I have to say she did an AWESOME creative job with all of my treasures that I received from her...my box was filled with great creations by Barbara, one in particular was a VERY LOVELY WREATH (in Salt Water Taff colors which by the way was our theme)that I love, plus there were lots more goodies..I do not have a picture yet, but I will soon post one...you can go on Barbara's blog to see my goodies and to purchase some of the Lovely things that she makes...you can see them at - "secondsurf.etsy.com or at secondsurf.blogspot.com ...Thank you very much Mizz SandPiper Barbara - may you soar like an eagle in all that you do..and I know that you will.

There are many other swaps I'm preparing for now, one is in the "Year of Color", which is hosting a monthly ATCs' swap...the two hosts are Kari of ArtsyMama and Christine...another swap is "Easter Egg Garland Swap" hosted by Jennalee of http//:artrageousafternoon.blogspot.com, and I'm bizzy making more ATC's for Ms. LadyBug Geralyn's Tea Party (greetingsfromgeralyn.blogspot.com) I can't wait...well I better buzz on out of blOZ Land and get off my stinger and get bizzy to achieve all of the above and more...gotta make the honey...

New Hive for Pup called Wheezer

Well the buzz around the skep, is that there will be a new guy aka cairn terrier pup in the hive - the little guy's name is "Wheezer" and that ain't no teaser...we haven't formally met yet - but I bet he'll be a real stinger...the other pup aka Toby McBee in the hive will be really surprised to see another pup"bee" in the hood...since its only been I "Queen Bee of Creativity" and Toby in this Bizzy Skep....

Well I'm off to prepare all the honeycomb rooms for his arrival...just keep all your fingers and wings cross for the meeting of the two misters that things will work out fine and the two will become pup brothers...

Bee Still My Heart - Time Has Flutter By

Boy does time fly by fast - when you're having fun...I can't beelieve that 6 wonderful days have past by since my last news buzz was enter into my journal in the "Life of blOZ"....so much has happen since then...first I took the advise of Lady Geralyn by purchasing a digital camera from Target...thank you Lady Geralyn....camera still hasn't been used - such a BIG box for such a little camera - that I feared that the box might crush me, so it took me till today to open it...now on to learning to operate - oh boy the plot thickens with honey - hopefully it will be easy to learn it, if not than I will have to go to the Hive and ask the worker bees to help me....

On to other happenings - I was sooo bizzy preparing for my Valentine Party that I lost track of time...so much to do that I didn't get the chance to flutter by and post about my adventures...I had a swarm of fairies (Molly, Emma, Morgan, Erin, Megan & Emily) coming to my skep for a day of sweets & creativity....we were bizzy creating fun cupcake holder corsages and decorative candles - which I "Queen Bee of Creativity" learned from a blOZ called a "Year of Color" hosted by the Colorful Butterfly Kari from Arsty Mama....all the fairies creations were sooo adorable...we were all having soooo much fun that we didn't realize that the time flew by and they had to go back to the forests were they lived....we can't wait to meet again on Daffodil Sunday to create more sweet treats....till then...

Then there were the parties that I attended - the whirl wind of a Valentine's dance on Friday the 13th - I was a lucky bee to fly into a lot of friends who attended this event - I wore my red and all my jewels - you know being of royality you always have to look & bee your best ....with all the dancing, food & treats that went on - I thought it would never end but I had to get back to my hive sweet hive for some beauty rest for the next event....which turn out to bee a whirl wind success (the Valentine Craft Party)....as for today - after buzzing in the church choir at mass, I attend a gala held by my friend Miss Chick-a-dee Wendy, she flew a great event many flock to her party - I went with Mizz Owl"ette" Bonnie...what can I say birds of a feather stick together...we had a blast, meeting so many friends & guests of Miss Chick-a-dee's, again time flew by fast...so we bid our farewells & went our seperate ways....

Once back to my skep - I swirled in to see more exciting things going on in the Land of blOZ...which stirred the creativity stored up inside of me - that it lead "I "QBC"" to begin & create my art journal (Yeah) - now that's great Buzz....well that's it for now, I am swarming in, to create some more - maybee a second & third journal, only time will tell....happy trails to you - till we meet again!

Took Wrong Turn - Flight Is Delay - QBC Back On Track

It's two days now, that I "Queen Bee of Creativity" took flight out of the hive and venture into unknown territory....with all the excitement of leaving my "Hive Sweet Hive" - I became overwhelmed with all the turns, and bends in the sky that I started to get confused...but I stop for a moment to ask a fellow traveler for directions on how to get to this place that they call bl"OZ", and was told by a very kind Lady Bug - Ms. Geralyn that it is all "trial and error" & to go to a place call Target to buy with some honey & camera to keep track of my journey called "Life"...so with this in mind - I am back on the buzz to the "Land of blOZ"....please stop by again to see were my path may lead - you never know where I might buzz to or I might ask you for directions too.....

Queen Bee of Creativity aka QBC Has Arrived

Well - i've done it...i've come out of the beehive to explore the land of blog...and i must say "Bravo" to myself...it is definitely all the buzz that everyone out there saids it would be...i am sooo proud of myself for taking the flight out of the hive - let the workers attend to the skep - while I "QUEEN BEE of Creativity aka QBC" explore the world outside....there are sooo many places to go - flowers to taste - and new bees friends out there to meet..

So let me flutter my wings, and go for a buzzzz to the "Land of blOZ" -somewhere over that rainbow is a pot of honey....i'm definitely out of my element verturing out on my own....but - hey you never know, who or what challenges you might come across....that's just part of the fun - that's LIFE taking chances.....well i'm off - wish me luck...
