The Early Bird Gets The Worm...The Procrastinator - A Lesson To Learn...and A Change is Brewing

Happy Gobble Gobble Day a day early....doesn't the saying go the "Early Bird Catches the Worm" - in this case its the "Early Wishes Brings You Joy & Well Wishes" ... But that is not the case always with me... Actually, I have to say, I do a Spectacular Job at being a Procrastinator.... I truly don't want to be this way but it happens, so if there are any of you out there is blOZ land that can give this gal any suggestions that are helpful, I would be very thankful for them... You see, sometimes when I procrastinate it not only upsets me but there are times when it upset others.... so I do apologize to those that this has affected, know that I truly don't mean to be this way.... Like my little caption of myself goes on the side of my blOZ - "I am a procrastinator on a mission to Focus- Discipline - Finish..."

On another note, below are just a few of the things that I am thankful for during this Thanksgiving Holiday....

* I am thankful that God is always there when I need Him - even though it seems like sometimes I'm all alone but I can rest assure that He is standing right a long side of me...

* I am thankful that I am here to be able to write this message - that my health is gradually improving and will be improving much much more in the months to come...

* I am thankful for my family - whether I still have the honor & pleasure of having them here on earth or even Heaven above...for all that they had to put up with me, to taking me in - in my time of need, for ALWAYS being there

* I am thankful for my friends - that are always there when I need: a helping hand, or shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen to my woes & blessings, food for when times get a little tough not only food for the body but food for the soul also...

* I am thankful that I am blessed with not only one job but with two & a half....

* I am thankful for my artistic talents that God has given me...

* I am thankful for my trip to Silver Bella....and enjoying the company of many TALENTED women from all over the United States (this will be another blOZ entry)

*These are just a few of the things that I am thankful for....

Welcome.....allllll you Ghosts & Ghouls...I am sooo glad that you could stop by...Howard the Owl heard you coming a mile away. So good ole Howard decided to start giving out some "HOOTS" so that you might find your way faster here.... Ohhhh isn't that funny - you thought boarder up Mizz Bee's old place was ours... Oh my dear NO NO NO
she's buzzzzzed out of here a long time ago. When her true love Mr. Four Eyes turn to stone...it just broke her heart to past by his statue everyday, she wanted to put on his glasses, so that he could see how madly in love she was with him...ohhh thats another story .... let's continue with OUR visit...
Might I ask did you come through the Magical Port Hole to get here...its the only one along this road...and its the only one around for hundreds of miles... this hole can transport you to many many grand places...BUT its the "Ancient Bootiful Carved Doors" known as the "ABCD's" that bring to you an alphabetical magical zany place that not many have gone before the place is called Vanessa "Fanicful Twist Blog" - where the zaniest funniest magical Party is going on....you definitely do not want to miss this party - its the party of all parties - where ALL put on their best dress and webs so that ALL may see... So please do stop by and tell her I said "HI"...



I won't hold you up much longer you will have many places to visit once you stop and visit Fanciful Twist Blog Party...

Let me look at your palm and I can tell you your future....I see a very haunting & exciting day coming your way...so ENJOY it as much as you can...because this chance is ONCE in a life time...

Mr. Black Eye Crow came out of his cage just for you so that he may make a treat or two for you to taste... ohhhh look at the size of that devil egg he made what a funny little chef is he.. but see that he has even prepare a few sweet treats for you to take on your magical journey of fun... don't eat them all at once I know that some of the other ghouls have treats waiting for you too...store some in your caravan and save them for later...

Crow's Night Out...

Helloooo - Just Popping My Head In To See If You're There...

It's been a few days since my last post...but I've been a BIZZY gal - but between my full time job, my part time job at Anthropologie and my 2nd p/t job babysitting and trying sooo hard to get better health wise - I've been a little crazed... but this will pass.. Like the Ostrich I finally decided to get my head out of the ground and start poking around at new and adventurous things... and stand tall & proud.....

So I am here to announce that I will be opening up an Etsy Shop with items that I've created and things that I have found...so please stay tuned to your nearest computer and follow the updates and postings on this new adventure....

My second adventure is deciding on going to Silver Bella 2009 in Omaha, Nebraska in November... its a little scarey - but in the process of joining many swaps that are going on for this event, I've had the pleasure of meeting a lot of wonderful women who will be attending... I can't say that this feeling of nervousness will go away... but the anticipation & excitement in me will balance it out... I will definitely keep you up to date with what is happening & show some of the things I have made for the swaps I'm participating in...... The display on the right is one that is in Anthropologie that shows all of their aprons... this brings to my mind the theme of Silver Bella 2009 which will be aprons... My motto for this event is "So Many Aprons Sooo Little Time".....

Last but not least there will be a third announcement but that will be announced at a later date.... so I hope that you all are like the Ostrich & have but your head up HIGH to discover what is in the sky for you to see... EXPLORE is a word that I will be using a lot in time to come....

Everything Is Comingggg Up Geisha!!

A new look for my blOZ...isn't she a Retro Kinda Gal... I painted her a little over a year ago, and I just love the way she came out. I'm in stages of making a few things with her - so please buzz on by a see what is in the making for "My Geisha Gal & Tweetie Sweetie..." I'm going to start my art travels in another direction, I will explain that in my next post will soon..

Its My 49th Post, & the Beeginning Of My 49th Year

"Bee"autiful "Bee"day For Me...Part 1

Its me, just checking in to say...that I've had the most wonderful birthdays by far...not a cloud in the sky but the humidity was a tad high...when I awoke this morning I felt okay with turning another year older...I've accomplished a lot in my 49 years and I see myself accomplishing a lot more in another forty....to think that this little gal from Newark, New Jersey has come this far...I don' t have a degree, no fancy job, or a full breed pedigree...but what I do have is lots of love ones who care about me and many many dear friend

s who truly care about me...God has bless me with so many special people in my life that this alone can be so rewarding....so I say "Thank You God" for bringing me this far...and to know that He will be with me for the rest of my long journey in life .......

There's still one more entry I have to do today...and that is to pick a winner for my give away!....so I will be back in a flash or two or three but definitely before 11:30 ....

Sweet Treats Give Away..... & It's a "BEE"autiful Day In the NeighborHive.....

Hello again....hope every bee had a "bee"autiful day like I did today....not only was I treated for breakfast by my friend Bonnie...but I purchased myself a few goodies for me...who better to give you a gift - but yourself...I purchased a couple of items at PARCEL, Lil' Cricket & Frame 2 Please and more goodies from the Red Bank Farmer's Market...

Plus, I got to work with a great bunch of gals from Anthropologie....I truly mean it they are all so sweet, friendly & kind to an ole gal like me...I probably am old enough to be their mom, but it would be a privilege cause their a great group of gals....the team work & creativity is uplifting & inspiring....the above photo is an older display that was in Anthropologie, but I soooo love it, & yes - you guess right it had to do with "BEES"

Okay we're up to number 10 post, just 2 more before my 49th post....here's just a sneak peek of the items that are in the goodie box plus there is more....I'll give you the scoop tomorrow on how & why I choose these sweets & treats...plus I will be making a little announcement too....can wait for tomorrow night!...sooo let me go & get ready for bed because this Honey Bee is going to have a her Bee-Day!

It's Been a Bizzy Weekend....

Hello all....thanks for buzzing by...time does fly by when your having fun....I've been to many places since my last post...I've been bizzy getting things together for the BeeDay....oh what fun was to be had by ME aka Mizz HoneyBee alias QBeeC aka MizzBee...

After doing a couple of errands & this & thats yesterday....I went buzzing on to a town called Montclair - which by the way has my one of my FAVORITE stores and I was able to stop my another favorite of mine too...their names are PARCEL and Lil' Cricket...they have sooo much eye candy to explore....

Then today I was treated by a good friend Bonnie to a delicious breakfast for my BeeDay tomorrow (I had the Bananas Nut Foster Waffles w/rum sauce) at a cafe called the "Turning Point" in Little Silver - thanks Bonnie!...than we venture to a town called Red Bank for some Farmer's Market shopping FRESH veggies, homemade goodies, recycle made items, & cupcake - yummie ....(I'm going to have this as my b-day cake)and I treated myself to a BEEautiful Frame Picture from Megan & Mike of "Frame to Please" that's them in the above picture.....now I'm relaxing & getting some ZZZZ's before I have to work p/t in "Anthropologie" ....

I will be showing the goodies tonight for the give away sooo be on the look out...see ya later - alligator!

Timmmmeee - It's On My Mind - Yesss It Is...

Does anyone have the time....but I ask - is it the right time for me....when we sit and type our entries into our blOZs...it could be 8:00 pm est...but when YOU out there in blOZ land enter into my small part of this land - it could be 6:00 am cst....so what time is the right time? I ask...

I think that any time we have the moment to tell someone that we love them is the right time....or when we see a star twinkle in the night & we make a wish that to can be the right time...or when we savor that favorite flavor of ice cream on a hot summer's day that to can be the right time for me....it doesn't always matter whether the little or big hands are on one of the 12 numbers on the face of a clock - its matters how we feel when the time is right...so don't sit on the side & let time go by....take those right times & store them in the hour glass of life & remember like the light of day we too take time for granted.....don't let it slip away....make each day be filled with many moments of the right time...

The days begin to shorten while the nights arrival a little earlier, and things begin to show their shadows as the sun goes down....as I sit here by my computer & type this entry - I look outside to complete and total darkness - not one flicker of light, just me and my computer's glow...could there be some one out there looking at me....what do they see....do they wonder what I may be doing sitting at my make shift desk or are they wondering if I can see them....

As I sit & ponder & type away at my old Dell...I realize how precious our time is on this earth...how it could be here one moment and gone in a flash...just like the light of the day - that I take for granted....sometimes I forget with that light comes darkness...but I have FAITH that tomorrow brings more light to my life - & so I should treat this blessing like a precious stone & remember that its worth all its weight in gold & more...here's to all the sunrises & sunsets that bring a golden glow to your day, & all the seconds, minutes & moments in between them...may you not waste one ounce of gold that is given to you...treasure them & lock them away in our memories for when time becomes dark...
